Okay so June is a great month for me. Well it is my birthday month so…Anyway, I liked this book. The book setting was interesting; set in Alaska at a dog sledding training farm. I’m a sucker for books that have dogs in them and there were a plethora of dogs in this story. One character is the daughter of the owners of the dog training farm and she is preparing to race the Iditarod. The other character is a reporter who is on assignment to do a story on the woman and the race.

I like Redhawk as I reviewed another one of her books, Tiopa Ki Lakota. She obviously does her research, not that I know much about either topic, but nevertheless, she kept me enthralled with both books. I also like that her subjects are varied and don’t fall into the mainstream of other romance novelist. The one thing I wish she did was add a bit more sex.
