If you’re looking for a sweet book without any sex, then this is the book for you. Sweeney makes up for the lack of sex with fun characters that make you laugh out loud. The setting is cool as well, Lake Kabetogama, Minnesota. Yes this place does exist. I mean who wouldn’t want to say Lake Kabetogama twenty times. This is another one of those out of the way places that I would love to go visit in the summer.

The characters in this book come together under not so normal circumstances. Of course, you don’t find out the circumstances aren’t normal until close to the end of the book. The gist, a reporter comes to the lake to interview a woman who saved a minor character, who just happens to work for the same paper. The woman is dashing and there is an immediate attraction between the two women. Hilarity ensues as the woman’s mother plots to get the two women together.
