I’m a huge fan of Ali Vali. I love her stories because she makes her heroes stand out. This book is no exception. I wonder if she had fun writing this book. The story is set on a tropical island at a resort, the main character owns the island and the resort, and there’s a ghost. The story is not spooky but the ghost has some fun with the main character. The other character is on the island pretending to be something she is not. Oh and did I mention, there’s a baby too. This story will make you laugh and cry.

Vali always has good sex scenes but the sex in this book comes toward the end so the story has a slow arc to the two characters making love. I will say I wish some of the characters had a little more play time as well as a more substantial finale. This book is over fifteen years old and one of the first few books she had published.
