Cade Brogan otherwise known as K.A. Moll wrote this first in a series book called the Rylie Hayes Thriller Series. She incorporates three points of view in this story: The Detective, the Detective’s love interest, and the serial killer. If you like these types of stories then you’ll like this one. The fact that the serial killer is a woman makes the story better. This is not a spoiler.

The Detective is the main character. She’s trying to live her life and forget about the one woman who stole her heart. The woman who stole her heart left her because of her religion. The serial killer is after the Detectives love’s interest and she kills a couple of other women as well which is why the serial killer is on her case. Oh, I forgot to mention the serial killer is a county coroner, not a spoiler either. There is touch of sex but not over the top, I of course, would have a liked a little more.
