It Was You ~ Kim Hartfield

Published June 2020 ~ Amazon

❤❤❤❤

I love reading books by indie authors such as Hartfield. This was a sweet book and liked the high level retelling of the Cyrano de Bergerac story. Sometimes the best stories are the retelling of the old ones and I believe the author was successful with this one. This girl is on fire as she’s published a lot of books since 2018 and this is her latest.

The story focuses on a woman who’s brother asks her to text the girl he likes. Turns out the girl he likes is bi-sexual and at first, she likes him too especially the personality he displays when he texts her. Well, once the girl has a date with him and realizes he’s better at texting than is in real life, she doesn’t want to have anything to do with him. Of course, she doesn’t know that the texter is the woman she meets who she likes immediately. This is a fun read and if you want to read this book, select the link It Was You.
