Don’t let the three hearts full you. This is a good story but the only thing happening is kissing. The two characters don’t take their relationship to the next level, at least not in this first book. There is no happily ever after either. This is the first in a series of four, which are all available so there’s hope that the characters consummate their relationship in another one of the books. This first book leaves the reader hanging, wondering if the two lovers will get back together.

This story is about two women. One is the ruler of her planet and the other is a rogue Captain forced into serving a creepy guy by killing, stealing, and kidnapping. Kidnapping is the task set forth for the Captain. She is supposed to kidnap the ruler but love at first sight throws a wrench in the plans. There is lots of action including run-ins with an off the wall planet full of dangerous denizens and rescuing the ruler from the clutches of the bad guy.
