Talk about Slow Burn, I didn’t think I was ever going to get to the part where the characters finally got together. If you like these kinds of books then this is the book for you. Brooks does a wonderful job of building up and defining what makes up the characters. This book has a prequel where you are introduced to the main character. You don’t have to read the prequel but if you want an introduction to the character then you need to read the first book, Write Your Own Script.

The story focuses on a woman who is straight and realizes after she meets the other main character that perhaps she’s not so straight after all. If you are a die-hard lesbian who draws lines between straight and gay then you may have difficulty with this story. If you believe you love who you love then you will want to read this story.

The main character is a successful talent agent who works to compensate for not have the best life. The other character is a tattooist who gave up her job in banking to start a tattoo shop, which I think is cool. They meet because the best friend of the talent agent wants to get a tattoo after her divorce. Suffice it to say, a connection is made and you’ll have to read the rest to see how they get together. If you want to read this story, select the link Dare to Love.
