This book was fast paced. I read it in a day. The two characters have an attraction right away. One works in the morgue and the other is a doctor. The author throws in a crime to solve and wallah a quick read is born. Both of the main characters are exceedingly attractive. The morgue attendant is referred to as a Valkyrie and the doctor is heart-stopping beautiful. The Valkyrie is into MMA fighting so she spends a time or two in the ring getting beat up by her best friend.

The story revolves around the Valkyrie not believing the person she examines died by accident. She starts to investigate on her own and a couple of times in the story she ends up getting hurt. One of the times drives a wedge into her blossoming relationship with the doctor. I liked this book; however, there was only one sex scene and it was at the end.
