Hunter’s Way ~ Gerri Hill

I’m gonna say it, I love Gerri Hill. I’ve read all her books and I think I said this in my other review of her book Paradox Valley. This is the first in her Hunter Series where one of the characters is named Hunter. Abby Craden lends her voice to this series and I like her reading style. The novel is focused on a homicide detective who doesn’t get along with anyone. In comes another supposedly straight female detective, who gives her a run for her money.

The two characters in this novel are fun. They start out with some animosity and work their way to falling in love. The great thing about these types of books is you get to continue to read about the characters in future books. I’ve read the entire Hunter series and you won’t go wrong if you read them, but you need to start with book one. Reading them out of order wouldn’t be any fun.
